Assembly in the „Sopron Downtown Convention District”
The IAGA Scientific Assembly would be held in the Liszt Ferenc Conference and Cultural Centre (LFCCC) and in neighbouring buildings in the historical downtown of Sopron, forming an original „Sopron Downtown Convention District”.
The Liszt Ferenc Conference and Cultural Centre is the venue for most of the scientific and cultural events organized in Sopron. The history of this eclectic building marks the unity of arts and sciences. The ballrooms, theatre and concert halls, exhibition rooms and pavilions of the five-floor building host so many outstanding events that the Conference Centre has become the most important cultural and scientific venue of not only the town but also the whole region.
